Betty McMahel
I
started taking my pets to Care-Pets when my daughter said she was
so impressed with Dr. Evinger's expertise and thoroughness.
After one trip there I agreed with her whole-heartedly. She
is very straight-forward in her explanations of diagnosis and
treatment and empathetic with the feelings of pet-owners.
Her new colleague, Dr. Elkins seems to be following in this same
pattern of care and concern. What about the staff? Are
they important? You betcha! They are the competent
trained people who answer your general questions and call you back
with specific answers after consulting the doctors. They are
the ones who handle your pets with gentleness and
reassurance. However, this staff even goes beyond that by
being so friendly and accommodating they make you feel more like a
guest than a customer. Will I keep going to Care-Pets?
You betcha!

Birdie Morgan
Three years ago this November I was playing golf in Hanover,
Indiana. Just about the time we were finishing, a skinny
black and white pup walked-up to us and jumped into our golf
cart. We drove back to the clubhouse and asked about the dog,
when we found out she was a stray, I asked if I could have her.
I did
not realize at the time how sick she was. I thought she was
just a calm, passive puppy. A few days later, she was being
treated for pneumonia by a local veterinarian. She was not
improving and when we called to make an appointment to bring her
back in the vet was having a family emergency and she recommended
Care-Pets.
Dr. Evinger explained to us what Birdie was suffering from and
how dangerous and deadly this disease was. There was not a
lot of hope in the doctor's voice.
We left Birdie in the care of Care-Pets for several days, and
when we saw her again there was marked improvement. We were
sent home with several months medications and had to take her back
for follow-up treatments of IV's and oxygen.
Two and a half years after her treatments, we now have a full of
passion rat terrier with more energy than my wife and I
together.
Birdie is on medication and a special diet for the rest of her
life, and the way she is going it will be a long life.
Without the support and care we received from Care-Pets, without
a doubt, she would not be with us today.
I call her my little "Money Pit," but I wouldn't have it any
other way.
Thank you Care-Pets for all you've done.
